GFA provides plan examiners that are licensed and certified under Florida Statutes Chapters, 468, 471 or 481. Our services include the required plans examinations for the requested project, in accordance with the Florida Building Code for the Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Disciplines. GFA’s licensed staff can work with Building Departments during plan review to ensure code compliance of the finished product, thus minimizing time.

GFA will provide inspectors that are licensed and certified under Florida Statutes. Our services include the required inspections as outlined within Section 105 of the Florida Building Code, Florida Statute 468 regarding building inspection and local ordinances. Our licensed staff works with the local jurisdictions as well as on-site personnel to ensure code compliance on each project. Our 24/7 availability minimizes construction delays due to inspection scheduling.

Allows the fee owner of a proposed building to use a private provider to perform required building code plan reviews and/or minimum mandated building code required inspections for compliance with the Florida Building Code and Local Amendments. The Statute allows the private provider to perform these services on the building components that are within the disciplines covered by that person’s licensure and is further limited to the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and accessibility components of the building.
