This project consisted of the construction of an approximate 20,000-square foot medical office center with parking. 

GFA Services

• GFA performed a Geotechnical Exploration consisting of five standard penetration test (SPT) borings to depths of 25-feet below existing grade and three constant-head open-hole exfiltration tests to 10-feet below existing grade. Field testing findings and foundation recommendations were provided in the form of a Geotechnical Engineering report. 
• GFA provided vibro-replacement monitoring and post-improvement confirmation testing. This included reviewing the vibro-replacement plan provided by the vibro-replacement specialty contractor, monitoring the installation of vibro-replacement stone columns, performing five standard penetration test (SPT) borings to 20-feet below existing grade, and providing a vibro-replacement completion report summarizing the results of the vibro-replacement monitoring and post-improvement testing. 
• GFA performed construction materials testing services for all soils and concrete materials used for the project.
• GFA provided licensed threshold inspectors to perform threshold inspections on all reinforcing steel placements, shoring and re-shoring inspection verification, concrete and grout placement monitoring, pre and post fill cell grouting, and structural steel connections. 
• GFA provided licensed inspectors to perform private provider inspections for building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
