Adagio Fort Lauderdale Beach

This project consists of the new construction of an eleven-story condominium building with ground floor lobby, amenity, and common areas, and parking on levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. The building will be approximately 146,470 total square feet. 

GFA Services
  • GFA is providing licensed plans examiners to provide Plan Review for the Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Building Disciplines. 
  • GFA is providing licensed inspectors to perform the required municipal building inspections for Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical Disciplines. 
  • GFA is providing licensed inspectors to perform Threshold Inspections for Reinforcing Steel  Placements, Shoring and Re-Shoring Inspection Verification, Concrete and Grout Placement Monitoring, Pre and Post Fill Cell Grouting, and Structural Steel. 
  • GFA provided a Structural Inspector to perform a Pre-Construction Video Survey of nearby properties for exteriors for signs of structural distress or damage, exterior stucco, glazing, walkways/breezeways, and overall structural condition. After construction is complete, GFA will perform a Post-Construction video survey documenting the same items. 
  • GFA provided a geotechnical field technician to perform auguered cast-in-place (ACIP) production pile installation monitoring services. This included obtaining samples of pile grout for compressive strength testing, monitoring the installation of ACIP production piles, and providing a production pile completion report. 
  • GFA is providing engineering field technicians and a certified laboratory to complete Construction Materials Testing services for all soils, aggregate, and concrete material used for the project. 
  • GFA is performing post-tensioned cable elongation monitoring services. 
  • GFA performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment with an Environmental Lien Search. This included four components: records review, site reconnaissance, interviews, and the preparation of the Phase I ESA report. 
  • GFA performed a Ground Penetrating Radar Survey to determine if buried underground storage tanks were present in the subsurface. 
  • GFA is providing remote seismographs and monthly vibration monitoring reports during construction.
