The Rise Flagler Village

The Rise Flagler Village is a site for a proposed 347-unit apartment building located just north of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The site is 2.9 acres and takes up almost an entire block. This seven-story project would include a pool and amenity room, as well as 4,292 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 506 parking spaces. The total budget for the project is $75 milion.

GFA Services
  • GFA prepared an application for an Environmental Assessment and Remediation (EAR) License, as required, and submitted to Broward County PPRAQD for approval
  • GFA installed seven (7) soil borings using a GeoProbe near three monitoring wells and collected samples to submit to a NELAC-accredited laboratory for analysis of arsenic
  • GFA converted seven (7) soil borings into permanent groundwater monitoring wells
  • GFA Environmental Scientists purged and sampled eight (8) groundwater monitoring wells to test water for arsenic
  • GFA retained the services of a licensed contractor to excavate and stockpile approximately 90-tons of arsenic impacted soils and impacted soils were loaded into waste transportation vehicles and disposed of at a licensed facility
  • GFA performed multiple soil borings using a GeoProbe to collect numerous samples throughout the property for arsenic testing
